PROJECT BRIEF
For this project, my team and I were tasked with developing a fashion forecast for the fall/winter of 2023. With that, we conducted a variety of secondary research throughout the semester. From prints and patterns to scouting for runway and street trends, we dove deep into the world of forecasting.
The title of our theme “Hidden In Plain Sight” derived from the idea of people gravitating towards blending in, and not bringing too much attention to themselves. In addition, the rise in people leaving their concrete jungles to more remote locations allowed for us to focus on how this retreat to the outdoors serves as an opportunity to reflect and reset for people.
Throughout the process of the project, I headed the art direction/graphic portion. My team and I went through various stages creating mood boards, diving into textiles, and researching how our prediction is possible.

PANEL PRESENTATION
My team and I were selected to present our final project to a theatre of alumni during VCUarts Alumni Weekend at the Institute of Contemporary Art. It was an amazing opportunity to showcase our talent and amazing presentation to a massive room of creators. We were able to fully express the tone, research, and looks of our project.
MY TAKE AWAYS
After working closely with group for a few months, I gained a lot of leadership experience. Helping my team throughout the many obstacles we faced help show me what it takes to lead a team on a creative project. Especially, learning how to curate our many ideas into a cohesive end product.
